At ESS we prepare students for the road, not the road for the students (paraphrasing an old saying)
Oscar Torres-Reyna has degrees in economics, statistics, public administration, and political science. His work experience spans over thirty-three years in federal government, private, and academic sectors (more here). A constant throughout his academic and professional career has been the use of data analysis to extract meaning from data. Since May 2007 he has shared that experience with the vast and diverse community at Princeton University.

Jiwon Lee is a sixth year PhD student in Economics at Princeton. Prior to this, she obtained a BA degree in economics and business as well as a MS degree in finance from Seoul National University. She is interested in finance and industrial organization. She speaks English, Korean, as well as Stata, R, and Python.
John Fitz-Henley II is a fourth year PhD student in Economics at Princeton. Prior to the PhD, he obtained a BA in Economics and Quantitative Social Science from Dartmouth College, and worked in business analytics for a few years. He is interested in labor, development, household finance and public finance. He has experience coding in Stata, R, Python, and SQL.
Calvin Jahnke is a fourth year PhD in Economics at Princeton. He holds a dual BA in Mathematics and Economics, and Statistics and Data Science from Yale University. He studies the attention economy using Industrial Organization tools to understand social media platforms. He has experience coding in Stata, R, Python, and Fortran.
