Caio Almeida Elected to the Society for Financial Econometrics

Caio Rodrigues de AlmeidaThe Society for Financial Econometrics (SoFiE)’s 18th annual conference occurred from June 17 to 19, 2026, hosted by the University of Macau. Caio Almeida, Senior Lecturer of Economics at Princeton University, served as one of the academic chairs for the conference. The Society is housed at New York University, Stern School of Business.

During the conference, the Society elected Professor Almeida as a Fellow in recognition of his outstanding contributions to financial econometrics. Congratulations from the Department of Economics and the Bendheim Center for Finance on this well-deserved honor.
