*Students who have received a 5 on the AP Micro and Macro exams, a 7 on the relevant higher-level IB exam, or a grade of A on the relevant British A-level exams, and have also already taken Multivariable Calculus, may move on to the intermediate level courses without taking ECO 100 and/or ECO 101 if they wish. **Students who have received a 5 on the AP Stats exam or equivalent, may choose to pass out of taking ECO 202. We recommend taking ECO 302/312 in the Spring of Sophomore year, if students are interested in pursuing a plan more focused on research.
Sequence 4: Most Ambitious Quantitative Economics Track
Students preparing for graduate studies in economics should take MAT 201 and MAT 202, as well as a subset of ECO 310, ECO 311, and/or ECO 312 by the end of their sophomore year.
| Year | Fall | Spring |
|---|---|---|
| Junior | ECO 396 ECO Elective | ECO 398 ECO Elective |
