On February 25, Steven Davis visited Princeton University to deliver the 2026 Simpson Lecture. Davis is the Thomas W. and Susan B. Ford Senior Fellow and Director of Research at the Hoover Institution, and Senior Fellow at Stanford Institute for Economic Policy Research (SIEPR). His lecture was titled “The Big Shift in Working Arrangements.”
Each spring, a leading economist is invited to deliver the prestigious Simpson Lecture on Princeton’s campus. The lecture is the flagship event of the Simpson Center for the Study of Macroeconomics. The Center was founded in 2015 with a generous gift from Louis A. Simpson and his wife Kimberly Querrey. Simpson earned his graduate degree at Princeton in 1960.
