From experts in labor economics to inequality to econometrics, learn more about each person and their areas of research.
Joining us from MIT, Professor Simon Jäger is affiliated with both the Economics Department (and the Industrial Relations Section) and Princeton’s School for Public and International Affairs (Princeton SPIA). Jäger is an economist who studies labor markets and inequality.
Pauline Carry, a labor economist with a special interest in how employment contracts are determined and the role of labor market institutions, has joined the department as an Assistant Professor of Economics. Carry earned her Ph.D. in Economics from Institut Polytechnique de Paris in 2023 and recently completed a postdoc with the Economics Department.
Kevin Dano, an econometrician with a primary focus on panel data and networks, has joined the department as an Assistant Professor of Economics. Dano received his Ph.D. in economics from the University of California, Berkeley, in 2024 and recently completed a postdoc with the Economics Department.
Transitioning to Assistant Professor of Economics, Fedor Sandomirskiy is a microeconomic theorist specializing in information economics and economic design. Sandomirskiy joined Princeton as a Associate Research Scholar and Lecturer in 2023.
