Pietro Ortoleva, Wei Xiong, Motohiro Yogo elected to the Econometric Society

The Econometric Society announced this week that Princeton Professors Pietro Ortoleva, Wei Xiong, and Motohiro Yogo have been elected to the Econometric Society. 

The Econometric Society is an international society for the advancement of economic theory in its relation to statistics and mathematics. Each year, new Econometric Society fellows are nominated and voted on by current members. The full list of 29 new fellows elected this year is available here.

Three faculty members in the Economics Department were elected to the society. Congratulations to Professors, Ortoleva, Xiong, and Yogo!

Pietro Ortoleva is a Professor of Economics and Public Affairs
Department of Economics and School of Public and International Affairs and a co-editor of the American Economic Review. 

Wei Xiong is the John H. Scully ’66 Professor in Finance and a Professor of Economics in the Department of Economics and the Bendheim Center for Finance.

Motohiro Yogo is the Hugh Leander and Mary Trumbull Adams Professor and a Professor of Economics in the Department of Economics and the Bendheim Center for Finance.
