To aid course selection, the department recommends four popular course sequences that vary depending on the students’ proficiency in math.

Sequence 4: More Ambitious Math Track
Students preparing for graduate studies in economics should take MAT 201 and MAT 202, as well as a subset of ECO 310, ECO 311, and/or ECO 312 by the end of their sophomore year.
