To honor the Class of 2021, the Economics Department at Princeton celebrated Class Day on May 24.
As part of the ceremony, the department acknowledged several seniors who won prizes for their outstanding Senior Thesis projects.
The department also acknowledged two graduate students for the dedication to supporting this year’s undergraduates. Christine Cai was acknowledged for role as a teaching assistant for ECO 313, Econometric Applications. Ole Agersnap won an award for his role advising students on their Junior Independent Work projects.
The department also presented a teaching award to Assistant Professor Ernest Liu for his ECO 363 class, Corporate Finance and Financial Institutions.
“We have been through a lot together over the last year and a half during Covid,” said Liu in a video acknowledgment of his teaching award. “It has been an absolute privilege teaching and working with so many of you.”
