On April 15, Per Krusell visited Princeton University to deliver the 2024 Simpson Lecture. Krusell is the Torsten and Ragnar Söderberg Chair in Economics at the Institute for International Economic Studies at Stockholm University. His lecture was titled “Climate Policy in the Wide World.”

Each fall, a leading economist is invited to deliver the prestigious Simpson Lecture on Princeton’s campus. The lecture is the flagship event of the Simpson Center for the Study of Macroeconomics. The Center was founded in 2015 with a generous gift from Louis A. Simpson and his wife Kimberly Querrey. Simpson earned his graduate degree at Princeton in 1960.
